Welcome to this website about Gorey, Burgdorf and Wassenberg family history in Australia. The Gorey family settled in Melbourne from Ireland in 1841 when the population was just 7000 people. The Burgdorfs arrived from Germany during the Gold Rush, and the Wassenbergs were Dutch post-war immigrants.
